Professionally a graduate in Sports Science-Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, my dear mother being in the field of Dermatology and having studied Botanics laid the foundations for the olfactory realm in my childhood.
For more than a decade, perfumery has been an intimate and profoundly personal odyssey to me, an invisible art through which memories, emotions, and fleeting moments were woven into scent.
Each creation existed as a delicate echo of my inner world, shared only with those closest to my heart, where aroma became both refuge and revelation.
Drawn by years of gracious encouragement and quiet persuasion, I gradually came to understand that these creations were never meant to remain hidden. For more than a decade, each composition had lived as something profoundly intimate, born from real stories, deep sentiment, and moments that words alone could never truly capture.
In time, what once felt deeply private began to reveal itself as purpose. As it is written in the Holy Scriptures, “For we are HIS workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10, KJV.
And so, with reverence and sincerity, I chose to open this world to others, to share far more than perfume, but fragments of memory, passion, and soul, woven delicately into scent.

Vintage Affinity
There is, to my mind, a rare and enduring poetry in the perfumery of the early twentieth century — most especially from the 1910s, 1920s through to the 1950s. An era in which fragrance was not merely composed, but truly conceived. I have long admired the creations that defined this golden age: the refined elegance, the unmistakable signature, the evocative charm. Works which carried a lineage forward with remarkable grace rich in Ambergris, Musk, true Orris (Iris), Jasmin, Rose often warmed by Civet, and grounded in the earthy depth of Oakmoss, notes seldom encountered today. A time when quality endured: materials chosen with discernment, with patience, when each fragrance had the imprint of its creator's imagination. The flacons themselves were no less exquisite, objects of design, subtle nuance, and reflective of an artistic vision.
It is precisely these qualities I so deeply cherish: the artistry, the restraint, the quiet confidence of an era in which imagination was allowed to become reality. These were but true classics, born of genuine devotion. By contrast, much of modern perfumery appears to have yielded to standardisation. The handcrafted bottle, once a mark of distinction, has largely given way to uniformity and scale. While efficiency has its place, something of that earlier spirit, the freedom, the daring creativity feels diminished.
It is this spirit, above all, that I admire: the boundless creative liberty that defined perfumery. With Lujos, I am free to apply divine vision and true ingredients, ingredients noses have been restrained for far too long.
Our blends begin rooted in respect for nature's timing and the integrity of each harvest. Botanicals are only selected when they are truly in season, allowing their aromatic profiles to fully develop as intended. Lujos works in harmony with nature so no two years are ever the same.
If a particular year's harvest does not meet our standards of excellence or if its scent profile does not align with the vision of the blend, it is intentionally set aside. This commitment ensures that every blend reflects only the finest expression of the botanical, at its peak.
I remain deeply grateful and humbled to express artistically all that God has placed within me. The divine flow of creativity, the processing of lived life, and life forward is an essential part of my artistic expression and can therefore not be repeated. Indulging in micro batches solely.
